Hello, before starting a contact sport, it's important to fully understand its risks. Sport is excellent for physical and mental health, as well as social life. However, contact sports, like rugby, increase the risk of injury, such as concussions.
Here is my advice:
Use proper tackling techniques and other contact movements.
Wear a helmet, mouthguard, tights, and other protective gear.
Since training is intense, start gradually.
Questions for the patient:
Have you ever had a serious injury while playing sports?
How often do you participate in training or competitions, and what is their intensity?
Have you recently experienced any physical symptoms? (headaches, dizziness, fatigue)
