I. What advice would you give the patient about playing sports safely?

Firstly I'd start off by vividly recommending my patient to use the proper equipments for the sport of their choice, from head to toe : either by wearing running shoes, kneepads, or a good quality helmet to ensure not putting your body at risk. Once the material side of the sport has been taken care of, I'd suggest my patient to take care of their body in order to be aware of any incoming injury, as well as give themselves time to rest between practices even if they don't feel any time of pain. I do think that rewarding a healthy  body with rest is the kindest gift you can grant yourself. Most importantly, I'd strongly advice my patient to have fun in playing sports, because it truly is something to enjoy and not endure !

II. What questions would you have for the patient regarding playing sports?

- Does the patient have an history of previous injuries ?

- Have they practiced sports in the past ? Do they plan on being introduced to the said sport by a coach, or someone knowledgeable on the matter ?

- In their daily alimentation, do they follow any type of diets that could prevent the patient from getting the sufficient nutrients for their body to be fully operational ?
