My advices are :

-Always warm up properly before training.

-Make sure you have a supportive and caring team.

-Always see a doctor whenever you get injured (even slightly).

-Have a diet and lifestyle suited to your sport.

-Ask your circle not to put pressure on you regarding sports.

-Always be proud of your sporting achievements.


Questions I would ask : 

How long have you been doing sports?

How many hours per week do you practice a sport?

Do you enjoy the sport you practice?

Why do you play sports?

Do you play a team sport?

Do you look forward to your training or do you feel apprehension, stress?

Have you ever been injured (even slightly)?

Do you compete?
