Nominalization refers to turning a verb, adjective, or clause into a noun in order to create a more abstract concept. This often gives a formal, academic tone to your text or speech.
Marginalize (v) ➡ marginalization
Inclusive (adj) ➡ inclusivity
Older adults are excluded (clause) ➡ the exclusion of older adults
Here are some examples in context:
