I. What advice would you give the patient about playing sports safely?

I would advise the patient to take their time, to trust themselves, and not to be too hard on themselves. They should avoid putting too much pressure on themselves or overtraining, as this can increase the risk of injury or mental burnout. It is important for them to listen to their body and their mind, and to rest when needed.

II. What questions would you have for the patient regarding playing sports?

I would ask how often and how long they train each week. I would also ask what kind of meals they eat and how many times a day they eat. I would want to know if they have any specific or persistent pain. Finally, I would ask about their mental well-being, for example whether they sometimes feel low or experience a lack of motivation.

Your advice about avoiding overtraining is crucial, as you mentioned it isn't just a physical risk but a significant trigger for mental burnout. I also really liked that you included questions about nutrition and meal frequency. People often forget that physical and mental resilience are heavily supported by how we fuel our bodies!
