Before starting any sport, taking care of both your physical and mental health should be a top priority. I strongly advise you to always wear the right protective gear, stick to the safety rules and pay close attention to symptoms like headaches, dizziness, pain or confusion after getting hurt. It is also important to keep in mind that there is no need to push yourself beyond your limits, you should stay hydrated, get enough sleep and not hesitate to give yourself breaks if you feel like you need them.


I would also like to ask you a few questions before you start. Have you ever experienced a serious injury, especially a head injury like a concussion? Do you ever feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath when exercising? How do you feel emotionally after practice or competition? Do you use appropriate safety equipment?
